We are looking for a highly skilled .NET Software Engineer to join our Content Delivery & Security team. This team is critical to the success of our flagship CDN and DNS services and the development of our greenfield Shield product, which includes Web Application Firewall (WAF), DDoS Mitigation, and Bot Detection. This is a rare opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, helping to shape a faster, safer, and more reliable internet. As part of this team, you will apply your expertise to design, build, and optimize high-performance, scalable infrastructure. What will you do?

• Design and develop features for our CDN, DNS services, and Shield product, working across the stack with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and evolve distributed systems for content delivery, security, and performance.

• Write, maintain, and improve code that handles massive traffic volumes in real time, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and low latency.

• Implement DDoS mitigation techniques, enhance our WAF capabilities, and integrate bot detection mechanisms, contributing to the security and reliability of our platform.

• Work closely with network engineers and security experts to refine our TLS/SSL, HTTP(s), and TCP strategies, and optimize NginX and reverse proxies.

• Troubleshoot and optimize the performance of large-scale, distributed systems, solving complex problems across the networking stack.

What will you add?

• Deep expertise in .NET (Core) and C#, with a proven track record of building high-performance, low-latency systems.
  
• Prior experience in a cybersecurity-related field with working knowledge of WAF/DDoS techniques.

• A strong understanding of CDN technologies including HTTP(s), TCP, DNS, NginX, and TLS/SSL protocols, allowing you to contribute to evolving our platform’s capabilities.

• Experience shipping large-scale, distributed platforms with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and security.

• Strong knowledge of the HTTP and TCP protocols to help evolve our DDoS mitigation techniques, enhancing the resilience of our services.

• A mindset of continuous learning and growth, keeping up with emerging technologies and best practices, while driving innovation within the team.

• Strong understanding of DNS technologies, including respective RFCs, to help shape the future of our DNS platform and improve its scalability and security.

• A passion for performance optimization, low-level systems, and internet security, with the ability to solve complex networking and security challenges.
