As a Lead Product Marketing Manager at Built, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of construction finance. In this strategic role, you will serve as the critical link between our customers' needs and our product development efforts, ensuring that Built continues to revolutionize how the world gets built. Your impact will span the entire customer journey, from product conception to market adoption, as you lead our product marketing initiatives for a diverse ecosystem of stakeholders including financial institutions (Lenders), real estate owners and developers, and contractors. With over $200B in construction loans on our platform, 40 of the top 100 banks as clients, and a growing network of 500+ construction customers, your work will directly influence how capital flows through the construction industry, driving returns for years to come.

You will join our high-performing Product Marketing team, where you will own both inbound and outbound (go-to-market) functions. This dual responsibility will require you to gather and synthesize customer insights from across the organization to inform product strategy while also collaborating closely with Product Management on feature and product releases. You will develop compelling narratives and go-to-market plans that resonate with our diverse customer base, ensuring alignment between our inbound strategy and outbound messaging. Your strategic thinking, market insights, and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration will be crucial in accelerating Built's growth and cementing our position as the leading platform for construction finance.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead our Voice of Customer program, synthesizing insights from Marketing, PR, Sales, Implementation, and Customer Support to drive product strategy.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new features and products, working closely with Product Management.
  • Create compelling narratives that resonate with our different personas, translating complex features into clear value propositions.
  • Craft high-quality release notes that articulate our vision and address customer pain points.
  • Present strategic plans to leadership, balancing priorities and diving into details as needed.
  • Partner closely with Sales Enablement, Marketing, and PR teams, providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
  • Contribute to Built's mission of transforming the construction industry through innovative FinTech solutions.

Who You Are:

  • Product Marketing Manager/Product Manager with 5+ years of proven track record in product marketing or product management for B2B SaaS products
  • Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a knack for prioritization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bring proven expertise in zero-to-one product building, packaging, positioning, and then pitching to customers
  • Experience in developing and executing end-to-end go-to-market plans across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Background in financial products, payments, real estate finance, or construction is a plus.

Built’s salary range for this position is $125,000-$170,000 USD per year. The pay range is designed to accommodate upward mobility in the role, therefore it encompasses the full span of proficiency levels for this role and we believe that the midpoint of the range is competitive in the market. Salary is just one component of Built's total compensation package for employees.
