Role in nutshell:


As a Developer Advocate, you will bridge the gap between our technology and the developer community. You'll create engaging technical content, build strong relationships with developers, and represent our company at industry events. Your goal is to help developers succeed by providing them with the resources and support they need to leverage our technology effectively.

Desired experience:

  • Proven experience in a Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or Evangelism role.

  • Strong technical expertise in software development and testing, with proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools.

  • Familiarity with testing tools and cloud testing products.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly.

  • Experience in public speaking and presenting to technical audiences.

  • Proven ability to participate in and contribute to developer communities, forums, or open-source projects.

  • Passion for helping other developers succeed and a strong understanding of their needs and challenges.

  • Previous experience speaking at conferences, meetups, or other events is highly desirable.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.


Desired Skills (Additional)

  • Knowledge of content management systems, video editing tools, or other content creation platforms.

  • Ability to create and review technical documentation, tutorials, and sample code.

  • Experience organizing and leading developer events, such as webinars, workshops, or hackathons.
     

What will you do? 

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, whitepapers, and videos, that demonstrate the value and usage of our products. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to create technical documentation and example code.
     

  • Community Engagement: Actively participate in developer communities, forums, and social media to answer questions, provide support, and foster relationships. Organize and lead webinars, workshops, and hackathons to educate and engage developers. Gather and analyze developer feedback to inform product improvements.
     

  • Public Speaking: Represent the company at industry conferences, meetups, and events as a speaker, panellist, or workshop leader. Prepare and deliver engaging presentations, demos, and talks that inspire and inform developers about our products.
     

  • Advocacy: Advocate for developer needs within the company, ensuring that our products and features align with their requirements. Collaborate with product teams to prioritize developer-focused initiatives.
