Role Overview The Senior Manager, IT Business Partner, Finance & Data Analytics acts as a strategic advisor and delivery partner to Finance and Data & Analytics leadership. This role translates complex financial and analytical business needs into clear, prioritized IT demand and roadmaps that deliver measurable business outcomes. This position serves as the primary bridge between business and IT. This role establishes structured intake, prioritization, and governance processes, ensures alignment between Finance/Data strategy and technology execution, and guides delivery teams across the full solution lifecycle. The Senior Manager provides strong “Voice of the Client” input, prioritizes MVPs for incremental value delivery, and is accountable for business satisfaction, speed to market, and solution quality across Finance, HR, Legal and Data initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Business & Problem Solving Partner with Finance and Data & Analytics leaders to identify, structure, and solve complex business problems, including financial visibility, forecasting, performance management, and data-driven decision-making. Translate business needs into IT initiatives and roadmaps, defining product vision, strategy, and enhancements that deliver measurable business value. Prioritize and plan work based on business impact, ROI, and strategic alignment, managing backlogs, epics, and release plans to focus on high-value outcomes. Leverage data, analytics, and automation to identify opportunities for efficiency, insight, and improved financial outcomes, while continuously evolving solutions based on stakeholder feedback. Ensure customer-centric solutions by aligning multiple requirements into coherent strategies and roadmaps, providing clear guidance to IT teams, and mitigating impediments to deliver end-to-end business value. Reporting & Data Analytics Work with business to support cross functional teams’ reporting requirement, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable insights for business and IT leadership. Partner with Finance stakeholders and support financial reporting, forecasting, and performance management. Translate business questions into clear analytical requirements, dashboards, and reports in collaboration with Data Enablement and IT teams. Identify data gaps, quality issues, and manual reporting inefficiencies, and drive solutions through automation or improved data pipelines. Communication & Stakeholder Management Develop clear and persuasive executive-ready content (decks, briefs, summaries) to support alignment, decision-making, and stakeholder understanding. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Data Enablement, Architecture, Engineering, and BTO to resolve ambiguity, remove blockers, and ensure shared accountability. Act as a liaison and advocate for business needs, balancing client priorities with organizational goals and communicating effectively with both senior management and delivery teams. Drive continuous improvement and alignment, through service reviews, SLA measurement, market analysis, and adoption of best practices to enhance team performance, product delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction. Capability Mapping Develop capability mapping in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. Contribute to multi-year planning by helping sequence initiatives based on business impact, readiness, and data maturity, rather than theoretical models. Ensure roadmaps remain practical, outcome-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities. Experience & Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology, Finance, Business, or related field Experience 8+ years of experience spanning the following areas: Experience in IT Business Partnering, Product, Strategy, or IT Consulting roles Strong experience supporting Finance functions, including FP&A, Controllership, Cost Management Forecasting, Inventory Management, and Purchase Order (PO) processes Experience solving ambiguous business problems and influencing senior stakeholders 5+ years of experience spanning the following areas: Experience working with enterprise data platforms, reporting, or analytics solutions Experience operating in global or matrixed organizations Software/Technical Skills Advanced knowledge of financial & business analysis practices Advanced knowledge of Data Analysis & Insight Generation practices Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint & executive storytelling Advanced knowledge of Excel (financial models, analysis) Intermediate knowledge of Jira / Agile tools Intermediate knowledge of ERP / Finance systems (e.g., SAP) Intermediate knowledge of Data & Analytics platforms Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Excellent, structured problem-solving skills Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations Strong executive communication (verbal, written, visual) Stakeholder influence without authority Business-first mindset with pragmatic technology judgment Ability to successfully operate with ambiguity Proven ability to work in data-driven or analytics-heavy environments Additional Details for This Role This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by your manager. #LI-Hybrid Base Salary The targeted base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 per year. Base salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the successful candidate, as well as factors such as internal equity, cost of labor in the hiring location, and alignment with market data. Additional Compensation This position is eligible for a 20 % bonus at 100% of target, with the opportunity to achieve above 100% dependent on company performance and in alignment with company bonus plans. Bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon individual performance as well as Brother achieving its corporate objectives, in accordance with the applicable bonus plan in effect. About Where We Work Brother’s corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall.
