PMO Lead
Department: Operations
Location: Brooklinen HQ
Compensation: $108K – $130K • Offers Equity
Employment Type: FullTime
Overview
As Brooklinen continues to grow, how we prioritize, plan, and deliver cross-functional initiatives is more important than ever. We’re hiring a PMO Lead to bring greater structure, governance, and consistency to how projects move forward across the organization.
Reporting to our SVP of Operations, you’ll own project intake and prioritization, establish consistent ways of planning and tracking initiatives, and serve as the connective tissue between cross-functional teams.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role: you’ll build the structure for our project management organization while personally leading project governance and supporting priority initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Project Intake & Governance
Design and manage a standardized intake, prioritization, and approval process for cross-functional DTC initiatives
Establish and maintain a phase-gated project management methodology with clearly defined stage gates, deliverables, and sign-offs
Develop and roll out standardized project plans, status reports, and tools to create greater consistency across teams
Cross-Functional Delivery
Lead or co-lead priority cross-functional projects from planning through execution
Manage execution tracking, risks, issues, dependencies, and change throughout the project lifecycle
Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and resource conflicts before they affect project timelines
Serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional teams, keeping stakeholders aligned on priorities, ownership, and timelines
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Create and maintain a single source of truth for project status, risks, and dependencies
Establish a consistent project reporting cadence for Brooklinen’s Executive Leadership Team
Advise executive leaders on project health, tradeoffs, and organizational readiness for change
Conduct post-project retrospectives and maintain a lessons-learned repository to improve delivery over time
We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in project or program management, including leading cross-functional initiatives within a retail, e-commerce, or consumer/DTC environment
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders and peers without formal authority
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting project status and recommendations to executive leadership
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools
Management consulting experience is a plus
A PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
Experience establishing or formalizing a PMO function within a mid-sized organization is a plus
Experience with DTC-specific initiatives such as wholesale expansion, retail or channel expansion, or e-commerce platform implementations is a plus
Compensation
Base salary range: $108K–$130K, plus equity.
We take a consistent approach to our salary bands to ensure internal equity, and expect to make offers within this range. Final compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and market data.
Benefits & Perks
Up to 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage (employee-only)
Fertility & family-building support (up to $20,000 lifetime)
401(k) with a 4% company match
16 weeks fully paid parental leave
20 vacation days (25 after 5 years) plus year-round Summer Fridays
Hybrid work schedule with two core in-office days (Tues–Thurs)
Remote Thanksgiving week and remote last week of December
Up to four additional remote weeks per year with approval
40% employee discount plus seasonal product allowance
One Medical, Talkspace, and $1,000 per year via Joon for wellness
One-month paid sabbatical at five years and an additional one-month paid sabbatical at 10 years
