PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
● Implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, Load Balancers and other networking equipment.
● Monitor and analyze network performance, traffic, and usage to identify and troubleshoot issues.
● Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions to meet business needs.
● Develop and maintain network documentation, including network topology, configuration, and standard operating procedures.
● Ensure the security and integrity of network infrastructure by implementing appropriate security measures, such as firewalls and access control lists.
● Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies, standards, and best practices, and make recommendations for network improvements and enhancements.
Requirements:
● 4-6 years of experience as a Network engineering role with Enterprise Network and Data Center Operations, which includes network administration experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS and PaloAlto Firewalls.
● Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, VLAN, STP, HSRP, OSPF and BGP
● Strong understanding of Cisco Enterprise Wireless infrastructure, including configurations of WAP and management of WLC.
● Experience with network security technologies, such as PaloAlto firewalls and VPN.
● Experience with network Troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN switching, routing and firewall log analysis.
● Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
● Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
● Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals.
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
● Industry certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are preferred.
