vSAN System Test Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Design and development test plan and test cases for VCF vSAN new features;

Works closely with vSAN Dev Team to identify and follow up issues in new feature development and regression;

Automate the test cases for new feature testing and regression and maintain/enhance them in regular basis;

Develop tools/scripts to help manage hardware, testing execution and testing report/dashboard.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering (Master’s degree is preferred);

3+ years of industry experience with 1+ years of VMWARE/virtualization solutions at Enterprise scale;

Strong coding skills/experiences in Java;

Knowing python well is a big plus;

Rich experiences in operating a linux system;

Have some basis knowledge about HW (CPU/Memory/Disks/Networking);

Experiences in working on Enterprise distributed system (storage area is preferred);

Partner with various teams and stakeholders to drive feature readiness, great team-work and communication skills;

Willing to learn new things and enjoy resolving new problems;

Good written and verbal English skills;
