Ideal candidates possess expertise in Java, Python, Groovy, Angular, CSS, and HTML, Restful Web Services, Microservices, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Kubernetes. They should be adept at developing custom solutions while also recognizing when to leverage off-the-shelf options. Proficiency in CI/CD practices is essential. Additionally, we highly value individuals who are enthusiastic about user experience and have a keen eye for design improvement. The candidate should be willing to wear many hats and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Opportunities to Make an Impact

• This development role will produce deliverables for use in all products in our Mainframe division team

• Work collaboratively with our Product, Architects, and Engineering teams to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and contribute to the strategic roadmap

• Build monitoring, metric tracking, detailed reporting and alerting to provide full coverage of critical data

• Build great user interfaces and experiences with our in house component library, used by all Broadcom’s Mainframe software products.

• Work with leads to provide thought leadership and storytelling around how we may support the evolution of digital procurement tools through design

• Analyzes, debugs and/or assists in problem-solving in both development and production environments

• Actively support and contribute to end of iteration demos

• Participate in regular SCRUM and stand up meetings, development planning meetings, and project planning meetings.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

• Develop and optimize backend services using Java, Python, and Groovy.

• Develop and maintain RESTful web services to support various applications.

• Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Utilize GitHub for version control and collaborative development.

• Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

• You are great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.Applies broad concepts and theories to achieve innovative and effective solutions to complex problems.

• Passion for building high-impact, well-performing user experiences.

• Collaborate with internal teams to solve issues and build systems

• Own core infrastructure (manage large-scale virtualization and public cloud environments)

• Monitor and measure system health, availability and performance

Experience : Bachelors and 5+ years of related experience; at this level post-graduate coursework may be desirable or Masters degree and 3+ years of related experience or PhD

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $130,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
