役割と責任:

このスペシャリストソリューションアーキテクトの役割では、生成AI サービス向けのクラウドインフラストラクチャ自動化と AIOpsに関する責任があります。次に、オンプレミス データ センターのプライベートクラウド/IT 運用の自動化とマルチテナントアーキテクチャをサポートする必要があります。

必要なスキルと経験:

• 日本全体の顧客のエグゼクティブや技術リーダーに VMwareの戦略を的確に伝達し、製品デモやテクニカルプレゼンテーションを実施します。

• VMware プライベートクラウドの自動化と AIOps管理、および Terraform や Ansible などの既存の管理およびプロビジョニングシステムへの統合を含む機会において、専門的な技術サポートを提供します。

• 顧客のラボで VCF 自動化(Aria Auto)とVMware Private AI Foundation製品の概念実証演習（PoC）を主導し、ソリューションを検証します。

• ネイティブパブリッククラウド、AIOps、自動化ツールなどの同業他社の製品に関する実用的な知識を維持し、社内関連部署へ情報提供を行います。

• VMware Cloud Foundation および VMware Private AI Foundation や VMware Live Recovery などのVCF-Addons 製品の開発、リリース、継続的な製品改良に貢献し、本社のテクニカル マーケティングチーム、エンジニアリングチームと連携します。

• テクニカル プリセールス コミュニティのディスカッションを主導し、VMware Cloud Foundation および VCF-Addons 製品に関する VMware エキスパートへの知識の普及を促進します。

• VMware Cloud ソリューションの開発と展開に関するブログとドキュメントのベスト プラクティスとアーキテクチャ リファレンスを作成、公開します。

• エンタープライズ システム管理およびインフラストラクチャ (データセンター) アーキテクチャの経験を含む、テクノロジー関連分野での 8 年以上の経験を要します。重要なビジネスインフラストラクチャの設計、実装、管理に関する深い知識を求めます

• 自社、他社、新興企業が提供する IT インフラストラクチャの自動化ツールおよび AIOps 管理ソリューションに関する技術知見を求めます。
例としては、Aria Automation and Operations、vCenter / vSphere、OpenShift、Docker、GitHub、Kubernetes、Terraform、Ansible、Pytorch、Tensorflow、Jupyter-notebook などがあります (すべてを知っている必要はありませんが、いくつか知見が必要です)。

• 複雑なソリューションを、一般の人が理解できるシンプルで明確にまとめる能力。

Job Summary:

The Cloud Infrastructure Architect team (aka: VCF Specialist team) is focused on driving business transformation and accelerating the adoption of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) for realizing the private cloud. we are looking new market around cutting edge technology which are related to Generative AI and Cloud Infrastructure and Cyber Security.

This is a great opportunity to join our vibrant company and become a member of the Pre-Sales Engineering team. This position is focused on Private AI Foundation (https://www.vmware.com/artificial-intelligence.html ) and Infrastructure Automation (https://www.vmware.com/products/aria-automation.html ) products base on the VMware Cloud Foundation (https://www.vmware.com/products/cloud-foundation.html).

This role is right for you if you are an enthusiastic, self-starter with a charismatic personality. You will also need strong customer facing and relationship building skills, along with question based selling skills within the field of technology to succeed in this role. Please read on and apply.

Roles and Responsibilities:

In this Specialist Solution Architect role, this position has responsibility regarding Cloud infrastructure automation and AIOps for Generative AI service. Then, need to support the Private Cloud / IT Operation automation and multi-tenant architecture in on-premise data center.

We strive to help our customers deliver the self-service portals that will delight their end users. We educate them on the path to automating everything in the data center. It’s not just VMs and Containers we are delivering but also the security and networks to go with them via the software defined NSX Overlay Network, FW and IDS/IPS and AVI Load Balancer stack behind us.

Also, it’s included LLM and RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) and vGPU technical knowledge with NVIDIA which is related to Private AI solution business.

As a Specialist Solutions Architect,  the majority of time you will be in front of customers educating them on the power of our solutions.  When not with customers, you will be supporting the extended team and staying in touch with the business units in HQ.

Required Skills and Experience: 

• Evangelize VMware’s strategy driving product demonstrations to customer executives and technical leaders within Japanese customer overall.
• Provide expert technical support for opportunities involving VMware Private Cloud automation and AIOps management and integration into existing management and provisioning systems such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Lead Proof of Concept exercises for VCF automation and private AI products in customer labs to validate solutions.
• Maintain working knowledge of peer and competitor products such as Native Public Cloud and AIOps and Automation tools.
• Work collaboratively with Product Management, Technical Marketing and Engineering during the development, launch and continuing refinement of VMware Cloud Foundation and VCF-Addons products such like VMware Private AI Foundation and VMware Live Recovery.
• Lead the technical pre-sales community discussions and facilitate knowledge dissemination to the VMware Experts with regards to VMware Cloud Foundation and VCF-Addons products.
• Publish a Blog and Document best practices & architectural references in developing and deploying VMware Cloud solutions.
• 8+ years of experience in technology related areas including: enterprise systems management and infrastructure (Data Center) architecture experience with significant depth around designing, implementing, and managing critical business infrastructure.
• Strong technical proficiency with both mainstream and emerging IT infrastructure automation and AIOps management solutions. Some examples include - Aria Automation and Operations, vCenter / vSphere,  OpenShift, Docker, GitHub, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Pytorch, Tensorflow, Jupyter-notebook etc. (You don’t need to know them all but a few is beneficial.)
• Ability to distill complex solutions into simpler, visual chunks regular people can understand.
• Ability and experience to present sales and technical material to Enterprise and Telco and Public-sector customers in Japan.
• Ability to uncover business challenges and develop a custom solution to solve those challenges.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field or equivalent experience.
