Job requirements
- Install, configure, administer, and upgrade Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud environments.
- Manage server architecture, capacity planning, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Configure and maintain Tableau Services Manager (TSM).
- Perform platform monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Monitor Tableau environment health and usage metrics.
- Perform scheduled backups, disaster recovery planning, and restoration activities.
- Manage content deployments and migrations across development, test, and production environments.
- Ensure high availability and platform reliability.
- Manage users, groups, permissions, projects, and licensing.
- Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, and authentication integrations.
- Configure and support Row-Level Security (RLS) requirements.
- Enforce data governance and security standards across Tableau assets.
- Administer Tableau data sources, extracts, and refresh schedules.
- Optimize dashboard and workbook performance.
- Troubleshoot data connectivity and refresh failures.
- Improve query performance through SQL tuning and best practices.
- Define and enforce Tableau governance standards and best practices.
- Maintain standards for dashboards, workbooks, projects, and data sources.
- Provide end-user support, training, and platform guidance.
- Create and maintain operational documentation and knowledge repositories.
- Partner with data engineering teams to integrate Tableau with enterprise data platforms.
- Support data sourcing from Snowflake, SQL Server, and other enterprise databases.
- Participate in data modeling, ETL validation, and analytics architecture discussions.
- 5+ years of overall IT experience.
- Proven hands-on experience in Tableau Administration within enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong experience managing Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud platforms.

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator to manage and support enterprise Tableau environments, ensuring platform stability, scalability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud administration, strong knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, and cloud platforms, and a proven track record of supporting enterprise analytics ecosystems.
This role will work closely with business users, BI developers, data engineers, and platform teams to deliver a secure, governed, and high-performing analytics environment.
