Requirements
● 3-5 years of experience in test automation or a similar QA role
● Strong programming skills in Python
● Proven strong experience in API automation (Requests)
● Experience with Apache Kafka or similar event streaming/messaging systems
● Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)
● Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
● Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills
● Experience working with Jira or similar tools
Responsibilities
Automation Strategy & Framework Development
● Design, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API, UI, and LLM validation
● Drive best practices for test automation, ensuring code quality, reusability, and maintainability
● Contribute to the overall QA strategy and continuous improvement of testing processes
Test Development & Execution
● Develop and maintain automated API tests using Python (Requests library)
● Extend and enhance the automation framework to support new product
● Execute functional, regression, and performance testing
CI/CD & Test Infrastructure
● Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (preferably using Jenkins)
● Utilize containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes
●Support scalable and reliable test execution environments
Collaboration & Quality Ownership
● Work closely with Engineering, QA, PM and DevOps teams to improve quality and delivery speed
● Write and maintain test plans, test strategies, and technical documentation
● Track and manage defects using Jira (experience with Xray is a plus)
● Analyze logs, investigate failures, and troubleshoot issues across staging and production environments
Nice To Have
● Experience with Coralogix
● Experience with Load and Performance testing
● Experience in UI automation development (Playwright)
● Familiarity with Xray for test management
● Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
