This role will be responsible for leading product strategy for a telematics ecosystem that bridges digital intelligence with physical service delivery; this spans partner integrations, connected devices, scoring, and maintenance services. This individual will own the roadmap for ecosystem connectivity platforms, mobile experiences, API infrastructure, algorithmic scoring, and the digital-to-physical service layer that extends solution offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Define and scale telematics partnership products including OEM, aftermarket device, and mobile SDK integrations that feed real-time vehicle health and driver behavior data into service workflows

  • Drive product strategy for ecosystem connectivity layers: managing device onboarding, data ingestion pipelines, and real-time telemetry APIs that trigger predictive risk and service recommendations

  • Build and evolve recommendation algorithms and scoring models leveraging telematics signals (speed, braking, engine diagnostics, DTC codes, trip behavior) to surface timely maintenance, risk, and safety insights

  • Develop API/platform strategy enabling third-party partners in service centers, insurers, fleet operators, and OEMs, to consume and act on telematics data at scale

  • Drive product strategy for the development of the digital-to-physical service loop: translating telematics signals into actionable maintenance alerts, service appointments, and parts fulfillment workflows routed to physical locations

  • Establish data governance frameworks for partner data-sharing, raw signal normalization, DTC interpretation, and scoring model transparency

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years management or leadership experience OR Master’s degree; 6+ years of relevant experience including 4-5 years management or leadership experience

  • Experience with data pipeline tools (Kafka, Spark, Airflow)

  • Experience with ML/scoring platforms (Databricks, SageMaker, DataRobot)

  • Some SQL proficiency; familiarity with Python or R for model evaluation

  • Experience with Roadmapping tools (Productboard, Jira, Aha!), Data/analytics platforms (Looker, Tableau, Amplitude), and A/B testing and experimentation frameworks

  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure — specifically data storage, streaming, and compute services

  • Experience with microservices and containerized architectures (Kubernetes, Docker)
