Platform Engineer

In this role You will:

• Design and maintain key features for a platform that supports Gordon, a vital tool at the core of our global trading activities.
• Ensure the platform is available, scalable, and secure to support global trading operations.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for stability and efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and enhance collaboration.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth.
• Document software designs and operational processes for effective knowledge sharing.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve team efficiency.

What You will need to be successful:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience with a focus on automation.
• Strong skills in software design, scripting, and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with Python, PowerShell, Jenkins, ADO, and PowerAutomate.
• Knowledge of C#, Java, Ansible, OpenShift, AWS, and experience managing live systems are advantageous.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
