WHY BOX NEEDS YOU 

Our team’s mission is to empower internal and external customers by providing the tools and support they need, with a strong emphasis on data security, privacy, and productivity. We work closely with Product Support to address customer needs through innovative solutions and features. Additionally, we collaborate with internal teams—Security, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and RevOps—to automate manual, repetitive tasks, enhancing productivity and efficiency across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, fostering a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
• Continuous Delivery: Contribute to a culture of frequent, high-quality releases, ensuring consistent progress with a focus on delivering value to users.
• Adaptability: Embrace iterative development, adjusting to changing priorities and feedback to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ownership & Accountability: Take full ownership of your work from design to delivery, continuously improving and optimizing based on Agile feedback loops.
• Team Player: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers, ensuring seamless collaboration to meet sprint goals.
• You are in an office based role with the expectation of working from the Redwood City, CA office a minimum of 2x/week.

WHO YOU ARE

• 3+ years of professional Software Development experience
• Proficiency in Programming Languages: Strong command of one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript or PHP, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code
• Experience with Frameworks and Tools: Familiarity with frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Spring) and development tools such as Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, design solutions, and execute them effectively, with a focus on high-quality, scalable code
• Hands-on Experience with Cloud Technologies: Proficient in modern cloud technologies such as Docker containers, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microservices Architecture: Familiarity with designing, building, and maintaining microservice-based systems.
• Database Knowledge: Experience with MySQL and database schema design, including optimizing queries for performance.
• End-to-End Testing: Proficiency with E2E testing frameworks such as WebdriverIO (WDIO) or similar tools, ensuring quality in software delivery.

Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
