Senior NodeJS Developer

Information Security Responsibilities

• Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security
• Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint

Tech Skills

• Extensive experience in software development using Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications on AWS.
• Understanding of Serverless architecture
• Design, develop, deploy and maintain web applications using Node.js and AWS services.
• Implement and maintain APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation.
• Write code as per the coding standards
• Write unit test cases for the code
• Ability to review code from a design and best practices perspective
• Expert at Functional code review. Example, pull branch and review functionalities in local environment
• Develop reusable code / components with best practices that ensures integration of code in a modular way
• Ability to integrate project / Third party API with good error handling. Ability to implement & understand modern api handling practices using reactive programming
• Be on the lookout for new security vulnerabilities overall & vulnerabilities in the third party packages used in the project and propose plan to fix it
• Ability to document Software Requirements to map to requirements that are easy to understand by client and are of high quality
