Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of front-end developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Front-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive and dynamic web applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and workflows to ensure clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges, identify innovative solutions, and guide the team in implementing them effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and exceptional user experiences.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.
- Technical Strategy: Contribute to architectural decisions, technical roadmaps, and project planning.
- Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions with stakeholders, providing regular updates on team and project status.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (hooks, context API, etc.).
- Strong experience with Next.js, including SSR, SSG, and routing.
- Solid understanding of TypeScript and its application in large-scale projects.
- Advanced skills in HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design, animations, and modern frameworks like TailwindCSS or Sass.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and modern tools like React Query.
- Familiarity with front-end build tools and pipelines (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Babel).
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking:
- Exceptional analytical skills and a proven ability to solve complex technical problems efficiently.
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications at all stages of development.
- Leadership & Teamwork:
- Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in agile methodologies and sprint planning.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with backend technologies or APIs (Node.js, GraphQL, REST APIs).
- Prior experience in designing or consuming design systems.
