About the Role:

As a Project Manager, you will lead new product development and other impactful projects on the Electrophysiology Project Management team. You will collaborate cross-functionally, cross-divisionally, and internationally to drive strategic projects that are critical to business growth and continuity. You will join a team of passionate individuals striving to improve patient care.

The projects will vary in size and scope but may include leading new product development, supporting technical and/or process improvements, as well as driving strategic and transformational changes that are needed at BSC. These projects often have a high level of visibility throughout the organization. This role interfaces with key cross-functional groups including research and development, marketing, clinical, medical safety, design quality, regulatory affairs, process development and operations to execute product development. Your success in this role requires creating a cohesive strategy for project execution, an effective project team culture, and driving execution to ensure project completion. 

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Work is expected to ensure scope of work, costs, schedules, and risks are properly planned, resourced, and managed from concept to commercialization.
  • Build team ownership and commitment to project plan and identify, manage, and communicate project risks.
  • Prioritize, delegate and manage tasks among team members as appropriate to drive execution of project deliverables and minimize risk.
  • Interacts with internal and external stakeholders, by meeting regularly, responding to requests and explaining procedures.
  • Develop project plans for changes and development including deliverable lists, risk management, literature and labeling, packaging, pre-clinical as well as build coordination of both development and formal test articles.
  • Ensure the technical and regulatory integrity of the program and its verification and validation work and design reviews. 
  • Develop content that is in compliant with BSC, EU MDR, US FDA and global regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the global commercial team to capture user needs and support commercial launch.
  • Report out and up project progress and status including presenting at Senior Leadership and possibly executive level product reviews.
  • Demonstrates PDP/TDP system knowledge through coaching and delivery of high quality, high impact deliverables.
  • Leads team to the successful completion of project goals.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, engineering, business or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in product development in a similarly regulated industry (or 7+ years with a master’s degree).
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading cross functional teams and managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence, situational leadership, and ability to manage by influence.
  • Results-oriented, positive attitude focused on delivering timely, accurate and best in class execution.
  • Comfortable communicating to and presenting in front of all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on technical inputs from multiple and varied sources.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred qualifications and competencies:

  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • Experience with medical devices, hardware, and/or systems
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others in a matrixed organization
  • PMP® certification

Responsabilités 

  • S’assurer que la portée des travaux, les coûts, les calendriers et les risques sont correctement planifiés, dotés en ressources et gérés, de la conception à la commercialisation.
  • Renforcer le sentiment d’appartenance et l’engagement de l’équipe envers le plan du projet et identifier, gérer et communiquer les risques liés au projet.
  • Hiérarchiser, déléguer et gérer les tâches entre les membres de l’équipe, le cas échéant, afin de favoriser la production des livrables du projet et de limiter les risques.
  • Interagir avec les parties concernées, tant à l’interne qu’à l’externe, en tenant régulièrement des réunions, en répondant aux demandes et en expliquant les procédures.
  • Élaborer des plans de projet pour les changements et les activités de développement, y compris les listes de livrables, la gestion des risques, la documentation et l’étiquetage, l’emballage et les essais précliniques ainsi que renforcer la coordination des activités de développement et d’essais officiels.
  • Assurer l’intégrité technique et réglementaire du programme, des activités de vérification et de validation et des revues conceptuelles. 
  • Développer un contenu conforme aux exigences de BSC, du Règlement européen sur les dispositifs médicaux, de la US FDA et de la réglementation internationale.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe commerciale internationale pour identifier les besoins des utilisateurs et soutenir les lancements commerciaux.
  • Rendre compte de l’avancement et de l’état des projets, y compris en présentant des examens de produits aux cadres supérieurs et éventuellement aux membres de la direction.
  • Connaître le processus de développement des produits et les ensembles de documents techniques en fournissant l’encadrement requis et en livrant des produits de haute qualité et à fort impact.
  • Guider l’équipe jusqu’à l’atteinte des objectifs du projet.
  • Effectuer d’autres tâches le cas échéant.

 

Compétences requises

  • Diplôme de premier cycle ou maîtrise en sciences, en génie, en commerce ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Plus de 10 années d’expérience professionnelle pertinente dans le développement de produits dans un secteur réglementé de manière similaire (ou plus de 7 années avec une maîtrise).
  • Expérience avérée en gestion de projets, à la tête d’équipes interfonctionnelles, et en gestion de la portée, des calendriers et des budgets de projets.
  • Excellentes compétences en matière d’organisation, de relations interpersonnelles, et solides compétences en matière de communications orales et écrites et en matière de présentation.
  • Intelligence émotionnelle développée, leadership adapté à la situation et capacité à gérer par la persuasion.
  • Attitude positive axée sur les résultats et axée sur une exécution rapide, précise et de premier ordre.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for hourly, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for salaried, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).

Echo Jobs has been exceptional in my job hunt where it provides one platform to job hunt and I don't have to open 10 websites just to look for a job. It has also helped me focus much on the job skill and the location filtering out the onsite jobs and remote ones. The only feature that I would request is to display fully remote jobs that are not restricted to a country since the one available shows ie, Remote, US yet. But if it could show remote only, that would be helpful not only to me but to other people applying for full remote and not tied to only US candidates
