About the role:
As a process engineering intern, you will help support the production process for medical and life-saving devices at a sterilization facility. This involves supporting daily production by investigating processes, materials, and equipment to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. Your day typically includes the preparation and production of proposals and reports, attending daily team standups for prioritization, and balancing hands-on troubleshooting with project planning and execution. Tasks may involve problem-solving equipment and process issues, performing routine technical tasks working from detailed written or verbal instructions, and managing projects. You will be working in a team-oriented role under close supervision.

Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate bachelor’s degree majoring in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering with a graduation date of Fall 2025-Spring 2026. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors.
- Must be able to commit to program dates May 19- August 8th, 2025
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and discovering innovative solutions
- Experience with Minitab and SolidWorks/AutoCAD
- Knowledge of engineering problem-solving tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $58,240.00 to $64,480.00, plus variable compensation governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
