Purpose Statement:

Responsible for designing, defining and implementing system requirements for complex customer systems and/or preparing studies and analyzing existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs, defines, implements system requirements, system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters by using current systems engineering methods and technologies.

• Documents system requirements by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards.

• Tracks system engineering effort by creating and maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool.

• Solves system problems by analyzing the situation and recommending corrective or alternative actions.

• Analyzes, coordinates system partitioning (i.e. hardware/software partitioning) and total system integration by using systems engineering practices.

• Conducts special studies on subjects such as improving systems engineering practices, improving system quality, subsystem partitioning, etc. by researching and analyzing options for implementation.

• Detailed oriented Mobile monitoring system designer to enhance and maintain systems that monitor and ensure the continuous operation and performance of mobile-based solution and hardware platforms involving BLE.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for Mobile system design and sustainability

• Enhance efficiency, compliance and data-driven decision making by developing robust, scalable systems for managing NCEP and CAPA process.

• Root Cause Analysis of field issues, familiarity with tools like fishbone diagrams, 5 whys, FMEA to support detailed root cause investigations

• Create custom dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights into system functionality, performance, and sustainability metrics.

• Skills to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions

• A proactive approach to post-launch monitoring, coupled with expertise in real-time monitoring and data analysis platforms

• Continuously improves process and work methodologies by interfacing with peers/cross-functional groups and analyzing activities to improve workflow and work processes.

• Directs support personnel and project activities.

• Mentor engineers in Systems Engineering activities/methodologies and medical domain knowledge.

Basic Requirements:

Desired Experience and skills:

• 13+ years of experience in Systems Design and Product Testing with at least 4 or more in system design with devices and simulators.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent (BE, B Tech, MCA, MSc)

• Experience in regulated product development environment, particularly for medical devices with expertise in BLE, a plus.

• Highly accountable and responsible.

• Requires specialized and comprehensive technical and/or functional knowledge in own job function or field and has full understanding of other related job functions

• Leverages this knowledge to recommend new and/or improved work processes, typically at an area level impacting various teams

• Acts as a resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience

• Impacts the ongoing achievement of customer, operational, project/program or key business/organizational/service objectives and recommends improvements within area of responsibility

• Explains difficult or sensitive information to facilitate productive discussion; works to build consensus

• Regularly leads discussions and makes presentations in cross-functional meetings, effectively presenting information to explain recommendations and implications
