Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for technical support in Bloomfield Hills, MI office. The scope of responsibility includes the support, installation, and troubleshooting of all desktop/laptop-related computers, software installations, office printers, and basic networking and server support.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Responsible for installing and troubleshooting software on desktops and laptops.
- Responsible for troubleshooting IT Infrastructure services (Network, Servers, WIFI, etc.)
- Responsible for requesting quotes and assisting procurement with purchasing IT assets.
- Responsible for managing local IT services and hardware and conference room technology (Laptops, licenses, inventory etc.)
- Responsible for understanding and adhering to corporate-related standards.
- Demonstrate and ensure a strong customer service commitment within the organization.
- Collaborates with the IT Global Operations department and corporate IT services to restore services and/or identify problems.
- Attends daily standup meeting to ensure delivery is progressing to schedule.
- Manages Quality of local technical solutions.
- Adheres to and implements best practices to streamline the deployment and maintenance of technical solutions.
- Validates technical changes prior to local implementation.
Required Competencies:
- Operating Systems, Microsoft Windows, MAC/IOS, Linux, Microsoft Office, desktop, and mobile device troubleshooting.
- Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Intune, Azure AD
- Systems Administration: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms as well as Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Information Security solutions for endpoint threat management such as EDR and DLP agents
- Identity and Access Management: Active Directory, Azure AD, SailPoint, Group Policy…
- Management Tools, Microsoft SCCM, Autopilot and JAMF
- Information security and automation mindset
