Job Description

A Robotics and Mechatronics Internship Job Description typically focuses on the intersection of mechanical design, electronic systems, and software control to develop autonomous or automated machines. Interns in this field often support R&D, design, build, and test components for robots, drones, or automated machinery. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk).
• System Integration: Assemble and integrate electronic, electrical, and mechanical subsystems for robots.
• Prototyping: Fabricate, 3D print, or CNC prototype parts.
• Programming & Control: Write code to control sensors and actuators, often using Python or C++.
• Testing & Validation: Debug robots, run simulations (e.g., ROS), and test performance in real-world or simulated environments.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, report on project progress, and analyze data for improvements. 

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Official university recommendation letter with stamp (mandatory)
• Commitment: full-time or at least 4 days/week
• GPA equivalent to 8/10
• Technical Skills:
  • Software: Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks) and programming languages like Python or C++.
  • Robotics Frameworks: Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) is highly desirable.
  • Electronics: Knowledge of PCB design, microcontrollers (Arduino/Raspberry Pi), or PLCs.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
