Systems Engineer

Key Role:

Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models of products from concept throughout the product life cycle. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity in support of Hypersonic testing and development. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with systems design, integration, and testing activities

• Experience with conducting system level trade studies to identify and balance conflicting requirements

• Experience with delivering complex aerospace hardware from concept to test

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with requirements derivation and definition

• Experience with requirements validation and verification

• Experience with a gated design review process

• Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language or Unified Modeling Language

• Knowledge of requirement management tools, including DOORS or JAMA

• Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
