The Opportunity: 

As a Project Manager for Artificial Intelligence, you know that machine learning (ML) is critical to understanding and processing massive datasets for clients. Your knowledge of leading teams that are conducting statistical analyses on business processes using ML techniques makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. We need your technical knowledge and desire to problem-solve to support a variety of high-impact missions across sectors and domains. With a background in ML engineering, you’ll support project work around building pipelines to train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data. 

In this role, you’ll own and define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies. You’ll be part of a large community of ML engineers across the firm and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, software engineers, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver world class solutions to real world problems, processing data and information at a massive scale, developing pipelines that optimize the use of infrastructure, and integrating critical technologies into efficient user experiences. Your advanced skills and extensive technical expertise will guide clients as they navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.

You Have:  

• 5+ years of experience with project management for artificial intelligence, data science, ML engineering, data research, or data analytics
• Experience leading technical teams and project management
• Experience with client management and strategic consulting
• Experience with Generative AI, including transformers or LLM project work
• Experience with Huggingface, LangChain, or AutoGPT
• Experience with software engineering and artificial intelligence projects
• Experience with a programming language, including Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience with project work in deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or signal processing
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience with LLMOps, DevOps, or MLOps
• Experience with modern Cloud containerization computing technologies, including Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rust
• Experience with GPU programming, including CUDA or RAPIDs
• Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design or edge computing
• Ability to gather requirements from customers and lead Agile teams
• Master's degree in CS or Statistics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
