Key Role:
Lead the development and implementation of high–level Cybersecurity and Cyber engineering strategies by using various systematic approaches, listening to multiple viewpoints, developing solutions, and determining the course of action for addressing complex problems, authoring original text, and leading consensus–building discussions with colleagues and clients in multiple settings. Work closely with government clients and industry to define, develop, and oversee the implementation of approaches and methods that successfully translate complex functional requirements into Cyber solutions, with considerations for the process parameters, including system engineering lifecycle, technology parameters, such as tool constraints, financial parameters, such as team resources, and project parameters, such as schedules. Maintain responsibility for the leadership and development of experienced teams of highly technical professionals. Lead the development of intellectual capital related to next–generation Cyber opportunities and drive proposal efforts and client discussions that help the team grow into new and adjacent business areas.
Basic Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in working with significant management and supervising, establishing, and leading teams across a complex and wide variety of IT environments
- 10+ years of experience in developing, configuring, and delivering COTS software in support of enterprise security solutions
- 10+ years of experience in interfacing directly with senior government, including GS–15, CISO, CIO, and technical directors
- 6+ years of experience with managing technical integration and solution delivery issues
- 4+ years of IT security operational experience, including assessment of information assurance and interoperability
- Experience with thought leadership across the technology ecosystem with a reputation as a luminary in the federal civilian cybersecurity community, and implementing innovative and differentiated cybersecurity solutions leveraging emerging technology, automation and orchestration, AI/ML, quantum, and cloud, and in federal civilian security policy application for large, complex federal organizations
- Ability to collaborate with project and proposal teams to incorporate cybersecurity solutions and develop high quality implementation plans and roadmaps, and to form partnerships across key players within the technology, consulting, and federal civilian sectors
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- CISSP Certification

- Ability to clearly define, document, and articulate a vision and strategy to groups of people with varying levels of comprehension
- Ability to proactively build consensus and incorporate feedback from all levels to create a shared vision among a multi–disciplinary team
- Ability to show ownership of patents, intellectual property, or published articles generated because of technology initiatives
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff on functional expertise
- Possession of excellent time management skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $158,800.00 to $295,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
