The Opportunity:  

Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of the industry's toughest problems. 

On our team, you’ll help to build and design a software-based architecture for cloud deployments. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment using current cloud capabilities. Using your technical experience, you’ll work with stakeholders to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.  

You’ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You’ll work with your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you’ll grow your skills in areas like automation, AWS, and Kubernetes while developing critical systems.

You Have: 

• Experience with Docker and Terraform or Terragrunt

• Experience with coding best practices and standards, Python, and bash

• Ability to work in a team environment to innovate new solutions quickly

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with AWS, Oracle, or bare metal cloud setups

• Experience with architecting and automating workflows using Python, bash, or equivalent

• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
