Software Senior FE Engineer (Data Integration)

What you’ll achieve

As a Software Senior FE Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment. You will work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support to develop cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings.

You will:

• Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing front-end features to ensure the best possible user experience 

• Guide and participate in design, development, unit testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported

• Investigate and resolve complex customer issues

• Work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership

• Mentor other Boomi engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews

• Research, validate, recommend technology decisions and evaluate technical feasibility of UI/UX designs of new features

Essential Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in CSE

• 4+ years of experience working with React

• Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs and integration of front-end components with back-end services.

• Experience in software development with a solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining a software product

• Experience with Web Services technologies such as REST, SOAP, and WSDL

• Strong technical communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with cross functional technical teams within the organization

Desirable Requirements 

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise software development with strong proficiency in web development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX

• Good understanding of front-end technologies and OOP concepts

• Experience with SQL and relational database systems and knowledge of Application Integration and/or Data Integration (ETL) domain

• Working knowledge of Micro-services based architecture

• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, GCP

• Good understanding of user interaction patterns, UI/UX design principles and best practices

• Experience using Linux/Unix environments
