POSITION: Senior Quality Engineer

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software according to Agile methodologies. Work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on developing cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings. Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle. Guide and participate in design, development testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and resolution of reported issues. Investigate and resolve complex customer issues. Work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership. Mentor other Boomi Quality Engineers, including design collaboration and test reviews. Actively work towards scaling the product domain teams. Gather information to help formulate acceptance criteria; serve as a user advocate, and be comfortable challenging and discussing the intent of stories to surface edge cases and improve outcomes. Contribute to manual and automated testing suite to ensure future software stability.  Telecommuting allowed up to 60%.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related occupation.

Must have demonstrated experience performing web application testing using Selenium WebDriver, Java, source control systems, continuous integration tools, and Web Services technologies (REST, SOAP, and WSDL); using AWS technologies, including Cloudformation, S3, ECS, EKS, and EC2; performing API testing using ReadyAPI or similar tool; working with localization requirements; using collaboration tools, such as JIRA or Confluence; working in Linux and Unix environments; using SQL, relational database systems, and ORM tools (Hibernate); working with highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems; using Application Performance Management tools; conducting performance testing using JMeter; and troubleshooting customer issues in production environments.
