Senior Full Stack Application Developer

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Application Developer who combines strong expertise in SAP ABAP, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), modern open-source technologies, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using SAP ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP.

• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable technical architectures.

• Work with SAP CAP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Build, Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma.

• Develop side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA using BTP

• Architect modern full-stack applications using technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and Python.

• Define frontend, backend, API, database, and integration architectures.

• Design RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native applications.

• Identify and implement practical AI/Generative AI use cases within SAP and enterprise applications.

• Develop applications that leverage LLMs, Generative AI, conversational AI, and intelligent automation.

• Work with technologies such as SAP AI Core / AI Foundation, SAP Generative AI Hub, Joule, OpenAI or other LLM APIs.

• Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions where appropriate.

• Integrate AI capabilities into SAP and non-SAP business processes.

• Evaluate AI solutions for scalability, security, data privacy, performance, and enterprise readiness.

• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to improve application development and business processes through AI.

• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.

• Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Participate in application architecture and technical solution design.

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and architectural standards.

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers.

• Provide technical guidance on SAP modernization, BTP, full-stack development, and AI adoption.

• Work closely with solution architects, functional consultants, product owners, business analysts, DevOps teams, and other engineering teams.

Required Technical Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP.

• Good experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Experience with SAP BTP.

• Experience developing REST/OData APIs and integrations.

• Strong full-stack development experience.

• Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React or Angular.

• Hands-on experience with Node.js, Java, Python, or similar backend technologies.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Good understanding of databases and SQL.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD, testing, and Agile development.

• Practical understanding of AI/Generative AI and LLM-based application development.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.

• Strong architecture and problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to work across SAP and non-SAP/open-source environments.

• Ability to understand business problems and translate them into technical solutions.

• Strong focus on code quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.

• Passion for learning and adopting emerging technologies, particularly AI and cloud technologies.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
