This role provides a hybrid way of working with an onsite presence of 2 days/week. Account Security Do you want to play a pivotal role in protecting Booking.com user accounts against evolving threats? Role description You will be involved in building the software applications to support our high-performance requests in terms of data availability and consistency, response time, and traffic patterns. On top of standard programming languages, you will get the chance to work with the latest tech stack: Snowflake, Airflow, Spark, Kafka. Role Qualifications and Requirements Computer Science (or related field) degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience Proficiency in 1 or more server-side programming languages - preferably Java, Python (optional), Perl (nice to have) Experience with crafting and building scalable and flexible distributed systems. Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP) Strong algorithm and problem-solving skills Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker will be considered a plus. Excellent English communication (written and spoken) skills.
