Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Brazil is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer, reporting to Integrated Simulation and Modeling & Systems Engineering Tools Manager working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos office.

The Senior Software Systems Engineer will join the team of Integrated Simulation and Modeling.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead Software Development activities through standards for Aircraft Systems Development for several programs.

• Drive continual improvement in solutions sets to Development and Derivative Programs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• In-depth experience with Software Development for Aircraft Systems.

• In-depth Coding experience (C, C++, Python, Java, Labview, etc.).

• Experience with Virtual System Integration, Lab Development, Software-in-the-loop, Hardware-in-the-loop, Data Acquisition Systems (development, integration and troubleshooting).

• Experience with Model-based design (modeling and simulation using Matlab/Simulink).

• Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in engineering.

• Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).

• Proficient in both verbal and written communication skills in the English Language.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

• Master's degree in engineering.

• Experience applying systems engineering principles.

• Experience with System Test Engineering will be an asset in this role.

• Familiarity with Proof Of Match (POM) will be an asset in this role.

• Model-based systems engineering and model-based engineering applications and toolsets.

• Flexible collaboration skills and experience with Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with ARP-4754, ARP-4761, DO-178B/C, Part-60.
