The Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking a high potential Senior Software Engineer in Software Engineering team at Seoul, Korea. As part of Boeing Advanced Production System and and Cloud team this position will support the technical leadership, architecture, development, deployment and a standard enterprise-wide solutions of cloud based software applications for it’s commitment to innovation, safety and quality in the support of commercial aerospace products.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Software development for a cloud application in microservices architecture

  • Team and technical lead for a software development team responsible for the entire lifecycle of  cloud based software applications

  • Implementation of problem and change requests against the current baselined software

  • Collaborates with globally-distributed team to develop design, code, and test software

  • Collaborates closely with Prime Investigator and Project Management team to review project status, manage schedule, and prepare status reports

  • Interact with multiple stakeholders across organizations

  • Support Agile SW development method

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent with at least 10 years of prior software development experience.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience of working in IPT (Integrated Product Team) on software

  • Experience in software development including design, code, and test
    Strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • Strong passion for developing high-quality product

  • Highly motivated "roll up your sleeves" attitude with a strong drive for success and teamwork

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in cloud software development Rest API and Web App development (Blazor preferred)

  • Experience in OpenShift container platform or AWS, Docker container and Kubernetes Container Services preferred

  • Experience in Database SQL (MS SQL) and multiple programming languages (e.g, Python, C++, C#, Javascript etc)

  • Experience in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)

  • Experience working on Point Cloud Library or geometric metrology (applied math) processing is a plus

  • Experience in Object Relational Mapping frameworks (SQLAlchemy Marshmallow and entity framework preferred)

  • Experience in Workflow orchestration frameworks (Prefect preferred)

  • Experience in Point cloud analysis

  • High interest and experiences in Advanced assembly topics
