Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing's Engineering Systems Engineering Design Software team is searching for a motivated Senior Software Developer to join our team in Everett, WA; Kent, WA; Renton, WA; Seattle, WA or North Charleston, SC.

As a part of our team, you will help lead the design, development, and delivery of future engineering design products for the Boeing Enterprise.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads and performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs
• Leads analysis of end user processes to define application requirements.
• Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications
• Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance
• Identifies and recommends system and application improvements
• Identifies and resolves complex programming or application architecture problems
• Leads the development of custom software and integrations for current and future-state CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) solutions
• Coaches and mentors development team members via paired-programming
• Works with external software vendors to implement joint software solutions when required

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

 Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience programming with C/C++
• 5+ years of as the technical leader of a software development or product deployment team
• 5+ years with CAD/CAM software

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience developing and supporting Boeing's implementation of CATIA and/or Enovia.
• Experience with Dassault Systemes CAA APIs.
• 5+ years of experience supporting IBM AIX and/or Unix environments.

Typical Education/Experience: 

Typically, 9 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $113,900 - $164,450
