Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist (level 5) to join our VC-25B Program Integration Office (PIO) Data Analytics Team in San Antonio, TX.

The PIO Data Analytics team establishes systems, processes, and tools for use in support of program management and integrates across program teams by coordinating analytics activities for the program, and ensuring overall program performance execution objectives are achieved.  You will perform analysis and measure performance based on Control Points that align to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) structure (e.g., work break-down structure and Integrated Master Schedule).

As a Subject Matter Expert in data analytics, you will use your coding skills to assist in the Development, Build and Test, Run, and Automate methodology for KPIs.  Processes may require SQL coding in programs (e.g. SAS, SQL Server) to develop data plus other visual analysis tools.  What we do is analytics integration and data development, building applications for digital visualization that can be automated for display through a common platform on VC-25B. You will also use data science methods to support the creation of analytics and business intelligence products from data (e.g. metrics and KPIs, databases, etc.) into digital visualization (standardized), and automating for efficiency. These tools will provide analytics for consultation to internal customers at various levels. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Diagnose program health with diligent data analysis and maintenance to deliver first time quality and meet business objectives
• Lead and support Tactical Plans for Team: Daily Execution, Operating Rhythm, Team assignments, etc.
• Develop and build solutions for systems, processes, and tools for data and analytics. Run analytics for timely metrics that support program management and visibility that enable decisions at the respective levels
• Identifies and deploys data science concepts, techniques, analysis and decision tools to promote and assist in data mining manufacturing and support operations to assess performance
• Lead in developing data models and data sources to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics
• Align team assignments with program metric priorities
• Select and build tools and utilizes analytical methods to visualize performance
• Recommend and implement solutions by completing value stream data analysis including capability, capacity (e.g. supplier performance), throughput, work flow and logistics (e.g., critical path, lead-time)
• Applies project management techniques and concepts to product teams throughout all phases of product lifecycle that meets program requirements
• Acts as focal to establish requirements for developing VC-25B KPIs for BDS visualization
• Serves as a subject matter expert for data analytics with project management expertise
• Communicate status on projects and system health
• Communicate effectively with management and leadership
• Collaborate with cross functional teams
• Suggest improvements and foster innovation
• Operate to standards as set by leadership and management, actively manage projects using PMBP
• Develop advanced job practices and standards, by analyzing and establishing best practices for Data Analytics

Security Clearance:  

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• Bachelor or Master degree in data science, informatics, business, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or similar degree.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, SQL, and SAS.
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, ggplot2).
• Experience gathering and analyzing data.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Products (i.e. SharePoint, PowerBI, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• 10+ years of experience leading teams, managing projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework enterprise (SAFe) or Agile.
• 1+ years experience working with data service frameworks.
• Experience working in a multi-functional, multi-functional team environment.
• Experience working in the aviation industry.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and techniques.
• Experience with predictive modeling and algorithm development.
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Understanding of data governance and security practices.
• Experience with integrating disparate data sources.
• Ability to optimize data workflows for performance and efficiency.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, Jira).
• Experience with stakeholder management and reporting.
• Experience in resource management and allocation.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and project management.

Work Shift:

This position will be for first shift.

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically acquired through formal education from an accredited course of study (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $132,600 - $179,400.
