Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Product Integration Software Engineers (Virtual) to join the Enterprise Process Set team located in Mesa, AZ. This position will focus on supporting the Enterprise Software Verticals organization.

This position is expected to be 100% virtual with occasional travel to sites. 

In this role you will work closely with all facets of the program and certification representatives for both commercial and military programs to implement, review and refine strategies, plans and define SCM Processes and Certification Artifacts in conjunction with other team members to support product certification. This role is a unique opportunity to introduce and unify certification, design, development, test, and sustainment, to advance Boeing’s capabilities, skills, and people in a DevSecOps environment. Leads development of code and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software system.

This position may require up to 10% travel.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design and establish configuration management documentation

• Identify and establish baselines and configuration items

• Perform software builds; authorize the release of software builds and changes specified by Program or Engineering

• Create and maintain build environments and develop and execute build scripts and test automation (DevOps)

• Provide Software Configuration Management support to software teams

• Perform administration and user support, schema development and maintenance for CM toolset

• Act as liaison between management and other functional groups to resolve configuration issues

• Perform as CM support on various program assignments to include Software CM and/or Hardware CM and Data Management responsibilities

• Perform scripting (Perl, Python, shell) to support existing CM toolset and tool integration

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

• 5+ years experience in Software Configuration Management

• 5+ years experience Software Development

• 2+years of experience with Cloud developed solutions and an understanding of container technologies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with agile software development using Gitlab

• Experience writing Python scripts

• Experience with Bazel

• Experience with Docker

• 3+ years DO-178 Experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Masters +3 years' related work experience) In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Summary pay range for Experienced:  $96,900 - $151,800.00
