The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Mid-Level Manufacturing Engineer located in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing production and tooling methodologies.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Participate on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines

• Develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintain the program architecture for build

• Lead and implement manufacturing plans

• Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements

• Assist in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and help document producibility best practices

• Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions

• Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule

• Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts

• Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems

• Implement lean principles and technologies

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Huntsville, AL.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+years of experience designing, testing, and integrating a digital circuit card assembly

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in fabrication tooling, working with tooling and tooling processes, or working in a tooling technical field

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $90,100 – $121,900
