The Boeing Company is currently looking for a BR&T Materials and Processes Engineering Manager to join the team in Oklahoma City, OK.
As a Materials and Processes (M&P) Manager you will have the responsibility for providing leadership and integration within the M&P Engineering team, supporting activities including but not limited to Structural/Mechanical Design, Qualification, Certification, Production and Post Production Support, and Aircraft Integrated Product teams.
The leader will partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful execution of the M&P statement of work. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a highly skilled and diverse engineering team across multiple disciplines and Aircraft Portfolios.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The candidate selected will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
2+ years of experience in a leadership role (i.e., manager, project manager, team lead, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of aerospace industry experience
Experience working in or supporting Design Engineering teams
Familiarity with Materials and Processes Engineering
Previous Management Experience
Experience with BDS Commercial Derivative Programs or Military Aircraft Programs
Previous experience working for or with BR&T
Experience working as a Program/Project Manager
Experience working with specifications and standards

Summary pay range: $119,850 - $162,150
