The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for Equipment & Tool Engineers to join our team in Hazelwood, MO.
This position is within the Phantom Works organization underneath the Boeing Defense and Space umbrella, where you will be supporting exciting new endeavors. Join our integrated product team and work to provide tooling solutions to solve challenging and complex engineering problems.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Level Equipment & Tool Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Evaluate program and project requirements, develops complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System
Compile and analyze technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates, identifies robotics, automation or technology recommendations and system integration for equipment and tooling
Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements
Validate contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares
Conduct training for Production and Maintenance personnel
Develop and implement work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation
Perform studies and make recommendation for disposition of assets
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
(Level 2) 2+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or work related engineering experience with a Master’s
(Level 3) 5+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years of work related engineering experience with a Master’s or work related engineering experience with a PhD

Summary pay range (Associate, Level 2): $75,500 - $103,500
Summary pay range (Experienced, Level 3): $90,100 - $121,900
