• Preferred to have knowledge of guidewire datahub and infocenter.

• Good understanding of Property & Casualty and/or Life & Annuities, Group Insurance domain and work experience in at least one of the operational areas – New Business, Policy Administration, Claims and Billing

• In P&C domain, good knowledge in either Personal (Auto, Homeowners, Umbrella, etc.) or Commercial Lines (General Liability, Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, Business Owners, Inland Marine, Commercial Package etc.) specific to North American Geography is preferred.

• Exposure to P&C custom off the shelf products like Guidewire Insurance Suite and specifically Claim Center along with its data model.

• Should possess good amount of experience in Analysis, Requirement gathering, Elicitation, Documentation and Testing.

• Willingness to undertake frequent travels - short term or long term across the globe

• Good experience in developing high impact presentations (PPTs) for internal and external customers.

• Ability to conduct walkthroughs, workshops and meetings involving various business stakeholders.

• Ability to build and maintain client relationships, able to comfortably converse with all facets in the client's organization.

• Excellent solution evaluation skills. Drive technology solutions from a holistic and business value perspective.

• Exposure/Experience in Agile SCRUM and/or SAFe methodology

Robust understanding of PolicyCenter Data-Model

· Experience in GW Configuration Development (Expertise in GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Wizards, Workflow, Activity and Product Model development)

· Experience with XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools

· Experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss and/or Tomcat

· Experience with Database Servers like SQL Server, Oracle, and/or DB2

· Leadership – Assertive, Sharp with ability to inspire, bring out the best in individuals and develop a strong configuration team to deliver quality configurations

Roles & responsibilities:

· Assist onsite configuration team in estimations, Proof of concepts, definition, designs of robust and efficient configuration solutions.

· Prepare/Enhance Detailed Design Documentation (Field Mapping, Data Model definitions, Rules Definition etc) as needed to support Configuration development.

· Assist Onsite/Offshore teams – and in certain cases be responsible - in solutioning of complex configuration by developing and demonstrating solutions using Proof of Concepts

· Configure/Build/Develop PolicyCenter Configuration in accordance to the design documentation

· Configure/Build/Develop GW Configuration components (Using GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Wizards, Workflow, Activity and Product Model development etc.)

· Identify and develop reusable framework, configuration components to be used as is on multiple projects

· Unit and Functional Test developed Configuration Solutions using GUnit, Mockito – Automated and Manual.

· Prepare Build and Implementation plans for configuration work stream and report configuration work stream status

· Lead and manage teams of developers and be responsible for team velocity in delivering configuration user stories on time

· Work with external consultants & developers

· Train and build a team of experienced professionals

· GW PC Certification is preferred
