Project/Task Manager

What you will be working on:

As the Project/Task Manager, you will:

  • Provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned projects or tasks.
  • Review the status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Be responsible for the scope, cost, schedule, and performance of assigned projects or tasks.
  • Manage or direct resources required to perform assigned projects or tasks.
  • Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management.
  • Typically supervise assigned staff, which may include subordinate supervisors and managers.
  • Develop technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task orders, and perform administrative reporting.
  • May also perform high-level technical services on assigned tasks.
  • Conduct planning and provide recommendations to clients on task workload.
  • Manage the risk tracking process.
  • Attend customer meetings and serve as the primary client liaison.
  • Interact with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinate the development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensure quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Review future project requirements and develop strategies for future work.

What you will bring to us (Must):

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Must have an active DoD security clearance; TS/SCI desired.
  • Must have the ability to manage a medium to large team or department focused on multiple areas with medium to high complexity.

Would be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired):

  • Experience with managing IT projects within the intelligence community.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with contract and subcontractor management.
