About this role
This role is with the Core Web Platform team within the Web Tech Solutions Platform Infrastructure team. This team is responsible for delivering BlackRock’s online presence, including websites and investor tools, and driving the overall digital user experience for the company. The team maintains the platform that all of BlackRock's public websites and intranet run on.
Responsibilities:
Take part of the 3rd party technology development on BlackRock's public websites as a front-end developer. This consists of the followings
- Marketing tag development
- Cookie banner maintenance
- Support the reporting activities
Collaborate with the back-end developer team in end-to-end development tasks
Required skills:
- Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Hands-on experience with jQuery
- Strong MS Excel and Word skills
- Basic understanding of web analytics concepts
- Great written and verbal communication skills
We value if you have:
- Hands-on experience with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics (preferred), Google Analytics or Meta Pixel
- Experience with tag management tools like Tealium or Google Tag Manager
- Experience with or knowledge of log analytics tools like Splunk
- Interest in privacy regulations like GDPR
- Experience with or willingness to learn about modern web frameworks (React, Next.js)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant field

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
