Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Test Automation Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of a security functional testing framework across a hybrid cloud technology portfolio.

The ideal candidate will define the overall automation strategy, compliance traceability model, framework architecture, testing standards, and governance processes. This role requires strong expertise in security testing, test architecture, compliance, DevSecOps, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale security test automation frameworks.
• Define the overall security test automation strategy, architecture, standards, and governance processes.
• Develop frameworks and methodologies for security functional testing across hybrid cloud environments.
• Establish a comprehensive requirements-to-test-to-results-to-evidence traceability model.
• Ensure security testing processes align with applicable regulatory, industry, and security standards.
• Design testing solutions across cloud, hybrid cloud, SaaS, virtualization, containers/Kubernetes, APIs, firmware, and embedded environments.
• Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.
• Define automated approaches for security validation, compliance testing, and evidence collection.
• Evaluate and implement AI-assisted testing and automated test generation capabilities.
• Create architecture blueprints, technical standards, reusable frameworks, and governance documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to QA, security, engineering, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to establish security testing requirements and strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement of security testing methodologies, automation, and compliance processes.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in QA, test automation, test architecture, or related engineering disciplines.
• Strong expertise in security testing methodologies and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (Secure SDLC) practices.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of compliance-driven security testing.
• Experience with security and compliance standards/frameworks such as:
• EU Cyber Resilience Act (EU CRA)
• NIST
• ISO 27001
• IEC 62443
• OWASP
• Architecture and testing experience across:
• Cloud and Hybrid Cloud
• SaaS platforms
• Virtualization
• Containers and Kubernetes
• APIs
• Firmware and embedded environments
• Strong CI/CD and DevSecOps experience.
• Experience integrating automated security testing into software delivery pipelines.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing and automated test generation.
• Strong understanding of requirements → test cases → execution results → compliance evidence traceability.
• Experience creating technical architecture blueprints, testing standards, frameworks, and governance processes.
• Excellent technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience combining security testing, automation architecture, regulatory compliance, DevSecOps, and hybrid cloud environments are strongly preferred.

Experience working with cybersecurity regulations, enterprise security frameworks, and large-scale technology portfolios is highly desirable.
