General Manager, Go Network

BitGo is currently looking to expand our team by hiring a General Manager to run our institutional-grade settlement and trading product, Go Network. Go Network enables BitGo’s institutional clients the ability to hold their digital assets and cash in segregated qualified custody while still being able to access exchange liquidity and settle to LPs without taking counterparty risk. Go Network was born during the market collapse of late 2022 and has quickly become a highly-relevant and rapidly growing part of the digital asset market structure. The General Manager role will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for growing Go Network’s commercial presence and expanding our client/partner footprint globally to ultimately drive increased volume and revenue to the overall product. Additionally, the General Manager will help lead Go Network’s product evolution and prioritization working with the product and engineering teams to manage and execute an agreed upon vision.

Responsibilities

• Act as external and internal head of Go Network - driving and owning the businesses growth, team and p&l
• Work with institutional sales team to bring on more clients to Go Network to drive assets under custody, settlement volumes and off-exchange trading volumes
• Drive new partnerships with exchanges, ECNs, custodians and stablecoin issuers to have more connectivity on Go Network
• Work with product and engineering teams to evolve and advance overall Go Network vision and prioritization
• Work directly with Prime and trading teams to layer on financing and credit to Go Network core capability set - i.e enabling market makers to trade on leverage across connected exchanges
• Manage off-exchange trading function with Prime team to ensure an efficient operating model 24/7
• Work with senior management to further integrate electronic and OTC trading into Go Network ecosystem to create greater synergies within BitGo

Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of experience in digital asset trading, custody, operations, capital markets, prime brokerage or some combination
• 5+ years of general capital markets experience (either traditional or crypto markets)
• Deep financial markets expertise and digital asset market structure knowledge
• Excellent communicator with both clients and internal team members
• Leadership experience - managing a team across functional groups such as trading, prime brokerage, operations and product managers
• Enthusiasm for the digital asset industry and curiosity of new concepts such as new protocols and tokens, staking, NFTs, institutional market structure, credit etc.
• Agility and appetite for learning new products/technology in a fast-developing environment

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $200,000 - $250,000 USD base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus and the benefits outlined above are also a part of this role's package.
