Are you an experienced backend developer with a passion for cutting-edge technology and an interest in solving real production problems under strict SLA requirements?

BioCatch is looking for an experienced backend developer to join our core backend team and help take our system to its next level.

As a backend developer at BioCatch, you will work alongside a team of highly curious and innovative professionals. You will be responsible for developing core services and solutions that process high volumes of real-time traffic under tight latency budgets. The role involves complex problem-solving, a broad view of the entire system, and a deep understanding of how we ingest and process traffic at scale.

Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military experience in a technology unit.
• At least 7 years of experience developing software for large-scale systems.
• At least 4 years of experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud architecture and microservices.
• Experience working in CI/CD and Dockerized environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in Rust.
