We’re a green tech company delivering two innovative platforms: bimobject.com, a marketplace connecting architects and manufacturers, and prodikt.com, a sustainability platform for the construction and property sector.  We also create digital models (called BIM objects) and environmental reports (called EPDs) for our platforms. We also use special software to map a product's environmental impact, from materials to final use.

As the Engineering Manager for our Impacts / Insights domain, which consists of multiple web applications for generating insightful information for our customers by utilizing millions of data points, you will play a key role in guiding talented engineers in team Journey who develop and maintain critical applications using .NET, Angular in Azure environment. In this position, you’ll focus on mentoring and coaching team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve their career goals while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. We love new ideas and perspectives and strongly encourage people with diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply.

Who are you?

We are looking for a person who has a passion for technology but also shines in their leadership skills. Beyond your product development knowledge, we value that you are a team player with excellent communication skills.

You have demonstrated people management experience in previous roles, where you successfully led high performing engineering teams. You have a strong software engineering background, enabling you to mentor your teams effectively. You have previous experience from a product led organisation and have navigated a dynamic, fast-paced scale-up environment. You have high agency and can do attitude with excellent problem solving skills.

As our new Engineering Manager, you will…

• You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle of one engineering team, including salary and career development. You will be a key driver in creating a positive and collaborative work environment in your teams and across the department.
• You will provide mentorship to your teams and direct reports on a regular basis. You provide active mentorship through effective and timely feedback. You will support them in their journey to becoming leaders and seek opportunities to push them out of their comfort zones.
• You will work closely with tech leads and product managers to align resources and develop efficient agile processes, ensuring smooth operations. You guide your teams solving complex technical and business problems by providing servant leadership. 
• You will collaborate with the rest of the product engineering leadership team to contribute to overarching engineering strategy and processes significantly impacting our engineering approach and advancing BIMobject Group’s technology.

Practicalities

This position is located in Malmö or Budapest and will follow a hybrid work model. You will be reporting to VP Engineering, who is located in Gothenburg, and you will find your closest team in Malmö and Budapest.
