Senior 2D Animator

Key Responsibilities

• Create high quality 2D animations and motion graphics based on storyboards.
• Develop engaging visual content, including motion design, typography, and character based animations.
• Adapt and version animations efficiently across multiple formats, sizes, and campaign requirements.
• Collaborate with designers, 3D teams, and developers to ensure cohesive visual output and smooth integration into final deliverables.
• Maintain consistency and quality across all visual outputs, aligned with brand and creative guidelines.
• Refine and iterate on animations based on feedback while maintaining quality, consistency, and meeting project deadlines.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Proven experience as a 2D Animator with a strong portfolio or showreel.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate (Animate CC).
• Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash & stretch, etc.).
• Experience in motion graphics and/or character animation.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and deliver under tight timelines.
• Good eye for design, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience creating animations for games or interactive media, including character motion and UI transitions.
• Understanding of animation optimization and adapting motion for different screen sizes and device performance.
• Experience collaborating with designers, developers, and 3D teams to align animations with user interaction and overall visual output.
• Basic knowledge of video editing and post-production workflows.
• Stay up to date with emerging tools, plug-ins, and motion design trends to enhance quality and efficiency.
