As the Senior Director of Digital Infrastructure and Technology Services, you will lead and oversee our company's technology operations and infrastructure. This critical senior leadership role ensures our IT services are effective, efficient, and aligned with strategic business goals. You will manage and optimize IT assets, helpdesk services, endpoint configuration and management, IT budgeting, identity and access management, SaaS tool operations, and IT cost forecasting. Additionally, you will drive automation and integration initiatives to streamline technology processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the company's business objectives.
    • Lead and manage the IT department, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Asset Lifecycle Management:
    • Oversee the acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets.
    • Ensure effective asset tracking, inventory management, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Helpdesk Services:
    • Manage and improve the IT helpdesk to provide exceptional support to employees.
    • Implement best practices for issue resolution, ticketing systems, and user satisfaction.
  • Endpoint Configuration and Management:
    • Ensure the secure and efficient configuration and management of all endpoints (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, etc.).
    • Develop and enforce policies for device usage, security, and compliance.
  • IT Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
    • Monitor and control expenditures, and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
  • Identity and Access Management:
    • Oversee identity and access management processes to ensure secure and appropriate access to systems and data.
    • Implement and maintain robust authentication and authorization protocols.
  • SaaS Tool Operations and Standardization:
    • Manage the operation of all SaaS tools used by the organization.
    • Standardize and optimize the use of SaaS tools to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • IT Cost per Employee Forecasting:
    • Develop and maintain models for forecasting IT costs per employee.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize IT spending and support business growth.
  • Automation and Integration:
    • Drive initiatives to automate routine IT tasks and integrate systems for improved efficiency.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution of IT initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, asset management, helpdesk operations, and endpoint management.
  • Expertise in IT budgeting, cost management, and financial forecasting.
  • In-depth understanding of identity and access management, SaaS tools, and IT automation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.

At BetterUp, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, residence location, as well as market indicators. The range below is representative of base salary only and does not include equity, sales bonus plans (when applicable) and benefits. This range may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for this role is $217,000 – $374,000.

If you live in New York, the base salary range for this role is: 
$249,000 – $374,000: New York City
$217,000 – $325,000: Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Nassau, Newburgh, Syracuse
