This position requires expert-level knowledge to fully implement and support network technologies consisting of LAN, WAN, and Wireless infrastructure.  The right candidate wil be able to support, implement, maintain, and manage all aspects of the network infrastructure and work closely with data, software, and engineering teams across the company.

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:

  • Ensure that the performance and availability of the network infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards to maximize productivity.
  • Ability to Design, Configure, Implement, and Support all network components.
  • Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic services.
  • Manage Load Balancers, Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
  • Participation in Day-to-Day Operations of the network environment
  • Analysis of complex network problems and coordination of resolutions
  • Conduct and assist in product evaluations to evolve our network.
  • Maintain complete detailed technical documentation of the network environment.
  • On-call for after-hours and weekend support.
  • Other functions include analyzing new technologies and determining their applicability in the organization's network, analyzing current WAN bandwidth usage, and forecasting future requirements.

Minimum Qualifications we are seeking:

  • Minimum five (5) years in Network Administration
  • Expert-level knowledge of LAN and WAN-based technologies and protocols, including BGP, OSPF, Layer 2/3 Switching & Routing
  • Expert-level knowledge of RF wireless designs, predictive/physical wireless surveys, on-site installation, maintenance/repair, and troubleshooting of WLAN systems
  • Expert-level knowledge of best practices and design of a highly redundant LAN architecture.
  • Expert-level OSI layer 1-4 troubleshooting ability
  • Minimum five (5) years Hands-on experience in the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multi-user, multi-protocol networks
  • Minimum ten (10) years of hands-on experience with enterprise firewall technologies
  • Expert-level understanding of RADIUS, AAA, and TACACS+. Solid understanding of authentication databases/sources
  • Expert-level understanding of Certificate Management via private PKI and public CA
  • Working knowledge of Mobile Device Management (Airwatch, JAMF, Intune, etc.). Hands-on experience with mobile, traditional, and IoT endpoints
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Build and support great teams; foster teamwork, collaboration, and transparency

Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:

  • Knowledge and experience in Manufacturing environments
  • Cloud Technologies, including AWS/Azure AD, will separate candidates. 
  • Experience with Aruba Clearpass Policy Manager
  • Experience with Aruba Wireless technologies
  • Aruba ACP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Network+/Security+, or other industry certifications
