Job Description

Job Summary:

Manages the functionality and safety of the facility, including the physical building/s, mechanical equipment, electrical system/s, heating and cooling systems and life safety systems in accordance with local laws and regulations. Assigns

work

supervises staff and verifies and documents the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system. Directs outside contractors, communicates with city officials and inspects

the

quality

of work by staff. Responds and coordinates responses to guest calls and emergency situations. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.

As Engineering Maintenance Manager

• Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss job specifications and procedures.
• Coordinate and direct jobs, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
• Direct, review, and approve facility design, repairs, maintenance, and changes.
• Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department,
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to Managements
• Consult or negotiate with Supplier to prepare any project specifications.
• Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees for the maintenance department
• Coordinate work performed by outside vendors
• Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates
• Prioritize the maintenance and repairs of company equipment and parts
• Control and monitor facility, tools, equipment and parts inventory
• Ensure that all company vehicles are cleaned, fueled and in proper working order
• Implement safety policies and procedures for the department

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Have a college degree holder in Mechanical, Electrical or any Engineering courses and PRC licensed
• Able to express himself in a clear and effective manner,
• Have desire in achieving excellence and customer satisfaction
• Be extremely detail oriented
• Have above average computer skill
• The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
