Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to:
- Leading electrical services design for building projects
- Assume responsibility and undertake engineering tasks of increasing scope and complexity
- Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and excellent technical report writing (i.e. Concept, Detailed Design, Tender Evaluation Reports, etc)
- Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and
other design consultants
- In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting
- Communicate effectively with the client, sub-consultants, contractors, and other parties relevant to the job
- Assist in assessment and review of designs prepared by others on behalf of the clients
- Liaise with authorities on plans submission and compliance
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (recognized by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, will be an advantage).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a consultancy environment
- Experience in leading roles for design & design management of health, commercial and/or institutional projects
- Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures
- Competent user of relevant engineering software, Building Information Modelling and Navisworks
- Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English
- Able to work independently & exercise initiative
- Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives
