Our team is seeking for a talented Software Engineer / C/C++ Developer specialising in video and image processing technologies to join our team in Belgrade, Serbia.
This role requires advanced technical expertise in programming and multimedia systems development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust video encoding and transcoding solutions, focusing on performance optimization and technical innovation. You will develop sophisticated tools that transform raw multimedia content into high-quality, efficiently compressed formats.
- Create advanced image and video quality assessment algorithms, leveraging your deep understanding of digital signal processing and computational techniques to evaluate and enhance multimedia content.
- Conduct in-depth research and implement cutting-edge processing algorithms, exploring innovative approaches to image and video manipulation that push technological boundaries.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, translating complex technical requirements into elegant, scalable software solutions that meet strategic product objectives.
- Diagnose and resolve complex software challenges, demonstrating exceptional technical troubleshooting skills and a meticulous approach to system reliability.
Requirements
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming with demonstrated ability to develop high-performance, reliable system components
- Practical working knowledge of Python for scripting and supplementary development tasks
- Experience in video and image processing domains
- Solid understanding of digital image formats and multimedia standards
- Proven Linux development environment expertise
- Advanced analytical problem-solving capabilities
- Sufficient English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience with open-source transcoding platforms like FFmpeg or x264
- Advanced GPU development skills, particularly with CUDA or hardware encoder technologies
- Academic background in mathematics or machine learning
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS ecosystem
- Familiarity with Containerization and Build tools (Docker CMAKE …)
